Form9 is built by a single independent developer. The short version: the app doesn't track you, doesn't show ads, and stores your puzzle progress on your device. This page explains the longer version.
The Form9 app
- No analytics, no crash reporting, no third-party tracking. Form9 does not collect usage data of any kind. Nothing you do inside the app is recorded or sent to a server.
- Puzzle progress and settings stay on your device. They sync between your devices through Apple iCloud (if you have it enabled), using your own iCloud account — we never see or store this data.
- Subscriptions and purchases. When you start a purchase or restore a subscription, Form9 uses RevenueCat to manage the transaction with the App Store. RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier and information about the transaction itself (which product, which receipt). It does not receive your Apple ID, email, or any puzzle data.
The waitlist on this site
If you sign up for the Form9 waitlist on this page, we collect:
- The email address you submitted. We use it solely to notify you when Form9 is available.
- Your browser's User-Agent, Referer, and Accept-Language headers — so we know which devices and locales people sign up from.
- Your IP address is used to rate-limit signups (so a script can't flood the form). It is not stored alongside your email.
Waitlist signups are stored in our own database. We do not use a third-party email service. We will not send you newsletters or marketing emails — only a single notification when the app launches.
Want your waitlist entry deleted? Email form9@bugsntea.dev and we'll remove it.

No cookies. No analytics. No third-party scripts beyond the Google Fonts CSS that loads the typeface you're reading.
